Innocean has won the top prize, the 'Grand Prix,' for the first time at the Cannes Lions, the world's most prestigious international advertising festival.
On the 25th, Innocean announced that it achieved its best-ever performance by winning a total of five main awards at the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the world's largest creative festival, including one Grand Prix, one Gold, and three Bronze awards.

Innocean's Grand Prix for Good award-winning work was a campaign by Innocean Berlin. Innocean Berlin produced an advertisement for Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and won the Grand Prix. This category is awarded to the most creative and impactful public service advertising campaigns by non-profit or charitable organizations.
Founded in 1985, Reporters Without Borders is an international journalists' organization established to promote freedom of the press and protect journalists' human rights. The campaign created by Innocean in collaboration with Reporters Without Borders conveyed the message to support independent media using the slogan, "Believe in free press, not just beautiful words."
Innocean emphasized the significance of the Grand Prix as the highest award given to the most outstanding public service work across all categories.
Meanwhile, Innocean also received additional Gold and Bronze awards in the Film category. The Film category honors video campaigns that demonstrate impressive brand storytelling and is considered a major award category announced at the end of the festival. At the same time, Innocean Berlin won two Bronze awards for a campaign in collaboration with the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center, commemorating war photographer Robert Capa.
An Innocean representative stated, "It is meaningful that we won the top award in the Film category, which is the root of the Cannes Lions, among domestic agencies," adding, "This campaign also won two Gold awards recently at the New York Festivals, one of the world's top three advertising festivals."
Starting with the establishment of its first overseas branch in India in 2005, Innocean has been striving to penetrate the global advertising market. In the world's largest advertising market, the United States, it acquired the subsidiary David & Goliath (D&G) and is also collaborating with TSLA, a leading independent advertising agency in Singapore. Due to these efforts, Innocean was ranked first in Korea for two consecutive years (2021) in the most notable Asian advertising companies evaluation.
Meanwhile, marking its 71st edition this year, the Cannes Lions is the largest global advertising awards ceremony with participation from over 90 countries worldwide, held from the 17th to the 21st (local time).
