"Having a New Perspective as the New Generation"
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism appointed Yundang Art Hall and Starcom Planning CEO Kim Dong-won as a non-standing member of the Korean Film Council on the 25th. The term is three years, until June 2027.
CEO Kim joined the council as the term of an existing member expired. He is an expert with extensive experience in producing cultural and artistic content such as films, dramas, and performances, as well as policy advisory. He produced the film "Jangsari, Forgotten Heroes (2019)" and the drama "Backstreet Rookie (2020)."
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism stated, "As a new generation, we made the decision by considering a balanced range of factors, including fresh perspectives and insights gained from experience in film and drama production."
