Exchange Produces Content to Encourage Domestic Investment
The Korea Exchange announced on the 25th that it has released the content series "Do You Want to Be a Director?" on YouTube to provide useful information to domestic stock market investors.
"Do You Want to Be a Director?" is content created by the Korea Exchange to convey capital market systems and improvements aimed at revitalizing the securities market. It can be viewed by searching for "Korea Exchange YouTube Office" on YouTube.
It especially includes essential information for domestic investors. In the content, a cast member who has received the mission of "capital market revitalization" explains investment knowledge such as order types, market alert systems, and stock indices in an easy and entertaining way to a new employee. Through this, viewers can naturally acquire useful information.
The content actively uses red for rising and blue for falling to help viewers intuitively understand investment knowledge. Additionally, the Korea Exchange’s symbols, Hwangbi and Ungbi, appear to add familiarity.
"Do You Want to Be a Director?" is currently airing its first season. Starting with Episode 1: Investment Indicators on the 3rd of last month, it consists of a total of eight episodes, concluding with Episode 8: Market Capitalization Excluding Treasury Stock, scheduled to air on August 14. The production interval between episodes is about 2 to 3 weeks. Currently, Episode 5: Basic Concepts of Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) is scheduled to air on the 3rd of next month.
An official from the Exchange stated, "'Do You Want to Be a Director?' was produced to effectively inform investors about policy tasks and system improvements promoted by the Korea Exchange as a market manager and to encourage domestic investment." They added, "We plan to produce and air a second season in the future by collecting viewers’ reactions and opinions."
