From French Cuisine and Wine to Humanities
Content to Experience French Sensibility Prepared
Shinsegae Academy announced on the 25th that it will offer art, culture, and food courses themed around France ahead of the Paris Olympics starting next month.
This summer semester course will be held under the title "La Belle France," featuring a total of 90 classes ranging from humanities, art, and travel courses to learn about French culture (35 courses) to dessert and cooking classes (28 courses).

At the Shinsegae Academy Gangnam branch, classes such as making the French-style egg tart "Vanilla Flan" and a travel course to southern France will be offered starting on the 20th of next month. Courses for young children (ages 4-6) are also prepared. The class "If My Artwork Were Displayed at the Louvre," held on the 21st of next month, allows participants to build the glass pyramid of the Paris Louvre Museum and exhibit their own paintings.
At the Centum City branch, the course "The Elegance of French Nobility: Tea and Chocolate" will be introduced on the 5th of next month. Additionally, at the Hanam branch, courses such as "French Wine Journey," where participants can taste three types of wine from major French wine regions, and "Storytelling of Famous Paintings Containing World History: France," a humanities class for parents and children to learn together, will be offered.
A Shinsegae Department Store official said, "Ahead of the global sports festival, we have prepared a variety of unique courses covering humanities, food culture, and art for customers curious about French culture," adding, "Shinsegae Academy will continue to present the most trendy themed content in line with global issues."
