Boryeong City Promotes 'Mud Festival' at Summer Festival in Incheon Seo-gu Cultural Street

On the 22nd, Boryeong City in Chungnam promoted the Boryeong Mud Festival at the 'Summer Festival Street' in the Cultural Street of Seo-gu, Incheon, the city announced on the 24th.

In April this year, the city signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for mutual development with the Boryeong Festival Foundation and the Incheon Seo-gu Cultural Foundation, and at the invitation of Seo-gu Office of Incheon, carried out promotional activities for the Mud Festival.

About 20 people, including Mayor Kim Dong-il of Boryeong and staff from the Boryeong Festival Tourism Foundation, attended and set up an exhibition hall for mud cosmetics, promoting the excellence of mud cosmetics.

Mayor Kim Dong-il said, "The Summer Festival on the Cultural Street of Seo-gu, Incheon provided an opportunity to experience part of the Boryeong Mud Festival," adding, "We hope everyone participates in the original Boryeong Mud Festival opening on July 19 in Boryeong, fully immerses themselves, rolls around, and creates joyful memories."

Meanwhile, the 27th Boryeong Mud Festival will be held for 17 days from July 19 to August 4 at the Mud Plaza area of Daecheon Beach. This year's festival will offer various programs such as the Mud Monster Shin, Birdman Performance, Mud Tang Experience, Color Mud Painting, as well as EDM performances, the Poseidon Water Music Festival, and Mudrang performances, providing diverse attractions for tourists visiting the Mud Festival site.
