Overseas Employees Gather for Technology Exchange... CJ Logistics Holds 'TES Workshop'

Discussion on Corporate Technology among the US, India, Vietnam, and Malaysia

CJ Logistics gathered employees from its overseas affiliates in the United States, India, Vietnam, and Malaysia to exchange innovative logistics technologies.


CJ Logistics announced on the 24th that it held the "8th TES Global Workshop." This event aims to disseminate logistics technologies from the domestic headquarters to overseas subsidiaries and share best practices among affiliates. A total of 145 employees from four overseas subsidiaries?CJ Logistics America (USA), CJ Dasul (India), CJ Gemadep (Vietnam), and CJ Century (Malaysia)?participated via video conference.


This event notably featured projects led by overseas branches. The U.S. subsidiary announced plans to create new business opportunities through a new warehouse management system expanded into the cold chain sector. They also introduced an AI-based device solution that allows workers to easily identify product locations, maximizing time and cost efficiency.


In India, the 2.0 version of the Transportation Management System project, which scenarios over 1,200 data points, was presented. CJ Dasul, the number one transportation company in India, plans to modularize various transportation-related functions such as dispatch and vehicle management to enhance flexibility and stability, developing technology to improve responsiveness. Additionally, Vietnam discussed an automated data analysis tool, and Malaysia focused on building a customer contract management system.


The domestic headquarters shared key technologies such as simulation functions for optimized logistics center operations and the automated sorting system "MAAS," which handles large volumes within the Crocs integrated logistics center.


Kim Kyunghoon, head of the TES Logistics Technology Research Institute at CJ Logistics, stated, "The TES Global Workshop is an important milestone that shares the latest trends in the global logistics market and leads innovation based on best practices from each region. We will pursue strengthening global logistics competitiveness through synergy in our global network."
