The '2024 Mujinjang Summer Black Friday (Mujinjang Summer Black Fri)' event hosted by Musinsa achieved a cumulative sales amount of 10 billion KRW within just 4 hours of opening.

According to Musinsa on the 24th, the Mujinjang Summer Black Fri, which started at 7 PM the previous day, recorded a cumulative sales amount of 10 billion KRW at 11:05 PM the same night. Musinsa explained that customer traffic surged immediately after the event began.

This record of reaching 10 billion KRW in cumulative sales is the shortest time since the first Summer Black Fri event in 2021. At that time, the cumulative product sales exceeded 290,000 units. This means approximately 72,500 products were sold per hour.

Musinsa analyzed that starting the Mujinjang Summer Black Fri at 7 PM from this year was a factor that led to the early success. They considered that Musinsa customers are most active in product browsing and shopping during weekend evenings, so they set the event start time to the weekend evening.

The Mujinjang offline pop-up store, which opened on the 22nd, also attracted crowds. Over 2,500 visitors came to 'Musinsa Square Seongsu4' in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, over two days during the event. Musinsa operates an event where scanning QR codes attached throughout the pop-up space during the event period randomly awards discount coupons. The number of visits to the event page via QR codes by visitors to the pop-up site on the 22nd and 23rd reached 12,000 times.

Meanwhile, the 2024 Mujinjang Summer Black Friday will be held on the Musinsa app until midnight on the 3rd of next month.
