LS Mtron announced on the 24th that it attended Eurosatory held from the 17th to the 21st (local time) at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center in France. Eurosatory, held biennially since 1967, featured participation from over 2,000 companies from 62 countries this year. Among domestic companies, LS Mtron, Hanwha Aerospace, and Hyundai Rotem set up individual booths.

LS Mtron exhibited 16 types of tracks, including Korean-style tracks mounted on the K2 tank and K9 self-propelled howitzer, as well as American-style (M1, M113, M109) and Russian-style (T-72, T-90, BMP-2) tracks. The company held negotiations for orders with leading European defense companies from countries such as the Czech Republic and Denmark and discussed the development of new combat vehicles for India.

LS Mtron began its military track business in 1974 and has supplied all tracks for tanks, armored vehicles, and self-propelled howitzers to the Ministry of National Defense for 50 years. Except for a few export models, all combat vehicles produced by domestic defense companies for the Korean military and export, including the K2 tank and K9 self-propelled howitzer, are equipped with LS Mtron tracks. Recently, with export contracts for domestic weapon systems continuing with European countries such as Poland, LS Mtron's track business is showing growth.

LS Mtron uniquely possesses independent design and development capabilities for Korean-style, American-style, and Russian-style tracks worldwide. Based on this, it can produce customized tracks tailored to each country. The company exports tracks to more than 40 countries and is gradually expanding its export markets. Through this Eurosatory, LS Mtron plans to aggressively target the European defense market.

Shin Jae-ho, president of LS Mtron, said, "Based on our long-accumulated capabilities in customized track design and production, high quality, and a stable supply chain, we will export to more countries in the European market."
