A Stamp Tour of Local Bookstores in Pohang: Walking Into the World of Books
Pohang City is hosting the "Walking into Bookstores" program as part of the annual events for the 2024 Korea Reading Festival Pohang, aimed at revitalizing local bookstores in Pohang.
"Walking into Bookstores" will be held from the 20th to September 29th to promote the 2024 Korea Reading Festival Pohang and to introduce the diverse and unique local bookstores in Pohang.
The Pohang City local bookstore stamp tour, "Walking into Bookstores," is open to everyone, including Pohang citizens. Here is how to participate:
Participants can receive a bookstore map at eight Pohang City Library branches and 27 participating local bookstores. During the event period, collect seven stamps from local bookstores, then receive an additional stamp at the main event venue of the "2024 Korea Reading Festival" at Yeongildae Haesang Nugak from the 27th to the 29th.
Upon verification at the stamp tour event booth at the main venue, the first 100 participants each day during the main event will receive a souvenir on a first-come, first-served basis. Completing the stamp tour by starting at the main event and visiting local bookstores over three days is also recognized.
