The video showed more than 10 monkeys gathered around the woman. Among them, six monkeys climbed onto the woman's head and shoulders, trying to grab her shopping basket.

In the video, the woman shouted "Go away" and resisted, but the monkeys continued to cling to her. The monkeys only moved away after fruit rolled out of her bag as she tried to shake them off using her hands and feet.

Netizens who saw this reacted with comments such as "Why is no one helping that woman?", "Tourist sites must ensure the safety of visitors," and "If they are going to open it like this, it might be better to close it," the media reported.

The Guizhou tourism authorities are also investigating the incident. They plan to prepare various measures to ensure the safety of tourists.
