Seo Iljun Elected as New Chairman of People Power Party Gyeongnam Provincial Chapter

Seoiljun, the newly appointed chairman of the People Power Party Gyeongnam Provincial Party.

The People Power Party's South Gyeongsang Provincial Party has elected Seo Iljun, the National Assembly member for Geoje City, as its new provincial party chairperson.

On the 21st, the provincial party held its 4th executive committee meeting in the main conference room and unanimously elected Representative Seo, who ran as the sole candidate, as the provincial party chairperson.

Seo, the newly appointed provincial party chairperson, stated, "If we unite with one heart and one mind for the development of South Gyeongsang and the party, we will become a force that brings about a great wind in Korea, creating a southeastern wind not only in the 2026 local elections but also in the next presidential election." He added, "I will listen to and communicate with each and every person as we lead the South Gyeongsang Provincial Party together."

Seo will begin his one-year term as provincial party chairperson after receiving approval from the party's Emergency Response Committee.
