Jokook: "The Coming End of Yoon and Kim Yeo-sa, Even Cheongong Can't Save Them"

'Chae Marine Special Investigation Act' Legislative Hearing Day Yoon Targeted

On the 21st, Jo Guk, leader of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, compared the president to 'Macbeth,' claiming, "The end of Macbeth and his wife is coming." This statement was made on the day a legislative hearing for the 'Chae Marine Special Prosecutor Act' was held at the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee.

Regarding this, Jo said on Facebook, "There is only one reason why Yongsan and the Ministry of National Defense caused a commotion simultaneously. All suspicions are converging on President Yoon." 'Macbeth' is one of William Shakespeare's four great tragedies, telling the story of Macbeth, King of Scotland, who, after hearing a prophecy that he would become king, murders the king who favored him and usurps the throne, but is ultimately destroyed after continuous anxiety, suspicion, and evil deeds.

Jo said, "If former President Moon Jae-in and the Blue House Secretariat had made the intense phone calls recently reported by the media, how would Yoon Seok-yeol's prosecution have responded?" He added, "There would have been a series of raids, summons, and requests for arrest warrants."

He continued, "Knowing what would unfold if a special prosecutor were activated, President Yoon is ignoring appearances and defending himself desperately," expressing hope by saying, "However, someone will speak out, and eventually the dam will break."

He went on, "Cheongong, who defended by saying 'the rule of law is not a superstition,' and the skilled person who drew a prince on President Yoon's palm, cannot save him," adding, "The end of Macbeth and his wife, who heard the prophecy of three witches that he would become king, murdered King Duncan, and usurped the throne, is coming."

Jo has repeatedly described the Yoon administration as a 'prosecutorial dictatorship regime' and called for its early termination. As methods, he mentioned, "There are impeachment, constitutional amendment, and resignation," and said, "Since it seems unlikely that President Yoon will resign, I will simultaneously pursue a two-track approach of constitutional amendment and impeachment."

He also claimed on Facebook the day before that, in addition to impeachment, it is possible to shorten President Yoon Seok-yeol's term through constitutional amendment under Article 128, Paragraph 2 of the Constitution.

Jo wrote, "When President Roh Moo-hyun seriously considered a constitutional amendment to shorten his own term, no one at the time said it was unconstitutional," and added, "The Jo Guk Innovation Party is discussing constitutional amendment based on the same logic, so raising objections is unreasonable."
