No So-young, director of Art Center Nabi, has decided not to appeal the result of the divorce lawsuit appeal trial with Choi Tae-won, chairman of SK Group.
The representative of Director No stated in a press release on the 21st, "Although there are some regrets from our perspective, we have decided not to appeal the second trial judgment, which was made based on thorough factual examination and legal principles."
Earlier, Chairman Choi's side filed an appeal, claiming there was a critical error in the valuation process of SK shares. Accordingly, the Supreme Court is expected to make the final judgment focusing on the content appealed by Chairman Choi.
On the 30th of last month, the appellate court ruled that Chairman Choi must pay Director No 1.3808 trillion won as property division and 2 billion won as consolation money. The appellate court explained that although it partially corrected the wording in the judgment related to the points raised by Chairman Choi's side, it did not affect the calculation of the consolation money and property division amount.
