Early Heatwave Leads to Decline in Selling Inquiries, Tug-of-War Market

The golf membership market is experiencing a decline in sales inquiries.
According to Donga Membership Trading Center on the 22nd, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide is 257 million KRW, a slight increase of 0.09% compared to last week. By price range, the ultra-high price segment rose 0.07%, the high price segment 0.18%, and the mid-price segment 0.14%. The low price segment fell by 0.08%. Donga Membership Trading Center stated, "While the low price segment showed a slight downward trend, the overall market remained stable," and analyzed, "During the summer off-season, the membership market will continue to experience a tense tug-of-war between sellers and buyers."
The average price in the central region is 291.13 million KRW, up 0.10% compared to last week. Suwon Stock, which had shown a slight downward trend, rebounded due to an influx of buying demand, jumping 0.41%. Blue One Yongin rose 3.85%, New Korea 0.51%, Songchu 1.25%, Hanyang 0.57%, and Ribera 1.04%. Yeoju Stock, which announced a green fee increase, fell 0.08%, and Hanwon also dropped 0.80% due to an increase in listings. Team leader Park Cheon-ju commented, "The central region membership market maintained an overall stable trend despite a slight decline in low-priced items due to listings. It will show differentiated trends by item amid limited trading volume."
The average price in the southern region rose 0.05% from last week to 168.65 million KRW. Gaya jumped 0.55% due to increased buy orders. Daegu rose 0.66% and Seonsan 1.85% due to active buying demand. On the other hand, Tongdo is showing a cautious buying stance due to the green fee increase, waiting only for low-price purchases, falling 0.59%. Bora and Jeongsan are experiencing a shortage of listings, with only accumulated buy orders without transactions. Team leader Lee Yun-hee forecasted, "The southern region membership market will show differentiated trends by item within an overall stable market."
