All Senior Healthcare Instructors Pass, Double Celebration
The Department of Dental Hygiene at Silla University (President: Heo Namsik) has achieved a 100% pass rate among its fourth-year students in the 2024 Hospital Administration Specialist certification exam.
All 34 fourth-year students from Silla University's Department of Dental Hygiene who took the Hospital Administration Specialist certification exam, co-hosted by the Korea Dental Education Development Institute and Osstem Implant, obtained their certificates.
The Hospital Administration Specialist certification exam is a professional qualification in the field of dental hygiene. It not only assesses knowledge related to dental health insurance and the ability to use insurance claim programs, but also evaluates administrative skills including hospital office and labor management. This makes it an important certification for dental hygiene students aspiring to become dental hygienists.
The Department of Dental Hygiene at Silla University is working to enhance students' employability by providing practical training to improve clinical adaptation skills using dental health insurance claim programs for fourth-year students nearing graduation.
Kim Yurin, head of the Department of Dental Hygiene at Silla University, said, "The Hospital Administration Specialist certificate can be immediately applied in dental clinical settings and objectively proves comprehensive problem-solving abilities for efficient patient care. We will continue to strive for students' professional development and employability, making the most of the valuable outcomes achieved through our annual curriculum."
The Department of Dental Hygiene at Silla University has also shown strong results in practical, job-oriented education, with all candidates passing the Senior Healthcare Leader certification exam held on the 8th.
