Exhibition of Over 40 Works Until the 30th

Sejong Museum Gallery announced on the 22nd that it will hold a special invitational exhibition of artist Moon Jae-pil, who has inherited Korea's traditional lacquer culture into the modern era and developed a unique artistic world, until the 30th.

This exhibition features over 40 works centered around themes such as Earth, Sea, Life, Natural Order, Yunhee, Enlightenment, and Wisdom.


Artist Moon draws inspiration from the relationship between the laws of nature and modern civilization, expressing his emotions by highlighting the characteristics and beauty of materials obtained from nature. He creates his works using lacquer harvested from lacquer trees.


A representative of Sejong Museum Gallery said, "His works contain dedication, attachment, and passion," adding, "Visitors will be able to feel a message of wisdom about how humans should live within the order of nature and modern civilization."
