'Supervisor-Centered Safety and Health Management' refers to confirming and managing whether work is carried out only after all necessary safety and health measures against potential hazards and risks at the worksite are in place. It is a key factor in preventing fatal industrial accidents.
This evaluation targeted about 140 workplaces in the Daegu area that applied for certification. Through document review, on-site inspections, and interviews with supervisors, the level of safety management was verified. Five workplaces, including Daesung Energy, were selected with a 'high' rating.
At the plaque award ceremony for excellent workplaces held at Daegu City Hall on the 19th, CEO Park Moonhee attended to receive the certificate and plaque, and SHE Team Leader Lee Jaewon presented best practices for 'Supervisor-Centered Safety and Health Management.'
Park Moonhee, CEO of Daesung Energy, said, "This certification as an excellent workplace is the result of all executives and employees prioritizing safety above all else," and added, "We will continue to strive to prevent industrial accidents through supervisor-centered safety and health management."
Daesung Energy has established a safety and health management system (ISO45001, ISO14001) and is making every effort to spread a culture of safety through city gas emergency response drills and safety campaigns to prevent industrial accidents and create a safe working environment.
