Both parties held the event to raise awareness about the role of antimicrobial copper and the importance of everyday quarantine measures. All students and staff of the National Hanguk Gyeongjin School participated. The National Hanguk Gyeongjin School is a special school for children and adolescents with emotional disabilities, with approximately 200 students enrolled.

The event was held in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed last year between the two parties for the 'Application Program of Antimicrobial Copper Products for a Healthy Educational Environment.' In 2022 and last year, they donated antimicrobial copper desk mats, masks, and antimicrobial copper door handles to the school, and this year, they donated antimicrobial copper door handles again.

Yoo Han-jong, head of the Korea branch of the International Copper Association, said, "We are pleased to expand the use of antimicrobial copper in public facilities where the risk of cross-infection is relatively high."

Han Dong-hoon, Executive Director of LS MnM, said, "We thank the students who actively participated in the event and made efforts to become familiar with copper."

Since 2021, both parties have been jointly conducting the 'Copper Friends' campaign, donating antimicrobial copper products to the local community. They are also widely promoting information that using antimicrobial copper in public facilities helps prevent infectious diseases.
