Osan-si Conducts Summer Safety Inspections at 32 Child Welfare Facilities

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 20th that it will conduct safety inspections of 32 child welfare facilities, including the Together Growing Center and local children's centers, until the 28th in preparation for the peak summer season.

This inspection aims to check the preparedness and various safety management conditions to prevent accidents caused by natural disasters such as typhoons and heavy summer rains.


The inspection items include ▲whether liability insurance is subscribed ▲fire safety management ▲electricity, gas, and facility safety management ▲meal hygiene safety management ▲disaster response measures ▲infectious disease control measures, etc. Any identified risks will be immediately corrected, and parts requiring repair will be promptly improved under guidance. The city plans to focus especially on updating the annual safety management plan to ensure systematic and swift responses in case of disasters.



Jung Gilsun, head of the Child Welfare Division of Osan City, said, "Through regular safety inspections, we will do our best to ensure the safety of facility users and workers so that children can use the facilities with peace of mind."
