Singer Hong Jin-young's beauty and entertainment company has begun preparations for a stock market listing.

According to the investment banking (IB) industry on the 20th, 'I Am Poten' signed a lead manager contract with Korea Investment & Securities for an initial public offering (IPO) on the same day. The company aims to be listed in the second half of 2026.

I Am Poten is a company operated by singer Hong Jin-young, who has transformed into a corporate CEO, and is engaged in beauty business and entertainment management.

The flagship beauty brand of I Am Poten is 'Chic Blanco,' launched last year. Chic Blanco is a cosmetic brand that nurtures the skin's natural health and beauty through eco-friendly derived ingredients and vegan formula prescriptions. It has established itself as a gentle cosmetic for sensitive skin.

Since its launch last year, Chic Blanco achieved a sell-out during its first broadcast on Lotte Home Shopping, reaching 130% of its sales target and gaining popularity. Overseas, it has received love calls from Japan, Europe, and the Middle East, rapidly growing in a short period.

In Japan, in November last year, I Am Poten signed a business agreement with Interpark Commerce and eBay Qoo10 Japan for entry into the Japanese market distribution and marketing partnership. Interpark Commerce's parent company is the global e-commerce company Qoo10 Group.

In Europe and the Middle East, export-related documentation procedures are underway at the request of local companies that showed interest in Chic Blanco at international beauty fairs. It is known that some companies plan to place product orders immediately after completing certification procedures.

In the entertainment division, trot rookie singer Jo Ah-seo is active. Jo Ah-seo, who debuted earlier this year, is a former member of the female group Gavy NJ, known for her emotional vocals, and transformed into a trot singer after meeting CEO Hong Jin-young. Along with this, I Am Poten plans to expand its business by nurturing rookie boy groups and trot singers.

An IB industry official analyzed, "As K-beauty is gaining global popularity, the potential of the Chic Blanco brand is highly evaluated," adding, "The synergy effect between entertainment and beauty is also expected."
