Welcome Savings Bank Offers Free Accident Insurance Service to All Customers

1-Year Coverage from Enrollment... 50,000 KRW for Fractures and Casts

Welcome Savings Bank announced on the 20th that it has partnered with Kyobo Lifeplanet Life Insurance to provide free accident insurance services to all customers.

The free accident insurance service, "Welcome Customer Exclusive Insurance," supports minor injuries caused by unexpected accidents in daily life. The coverage includes 50,000 KRW for fracture and cast treatment, 100,000 KRW for treatment of the three major tendons, and 1,000,000 KRW for compensation related to violent crimes.

Any Welcome Savings Bank customer can apply for the Welcome Customer Exclusive Insurance through the Life menu in the "Welcome Digital Bank" application (app). Coverage is provided for one year from the initial insurance subscription date. The free accident insurance service for customers is scheduled to be offered until the end of this year.

Welcome Digital Bank is a mobile banking app launched in 2018 as the first of its kind by a savings bank. As of the first half of this year, it has surpassed 1.2 million users and 4.6 million cumulative downloads. The monthly active users (MAU) reached 550,000. In 2022, Welcome Savings Bank introduced a personal credit and mortgage loan comparison service through its MyData service called "Welcome MyData." It has expanded its services to include budget phone partnership plans, Welbang Walking, public offering notification services, and support for overseas remittances to 51 countries, establishing itself as a lifestyle financial platform.
