[Brief] Deputy Mayor Cho Myungrae of Changwon Special City Attends Autumn Gunhangje Resident Festival Planning Meeting

Jo Myungrae, the Second Vice Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, held a meeting with the Jinhae Resident Festival Planning Group at Botaega, Jinhae-gu on the 19th to ensure the successful hosting of the 2024 Autumn Gunhangje Festival.

This meeting was organized to secure the sustainability and ensure the successful hosting of the resident-led Jinhae Autumn Gunhangje Festival. Second Vice Mayor Jo Myungrae attended to encourage the planning group members and exchange opinions for the success of this year's event. In addition, Woo Soongi, Chairman of the Festival Promotion Committee, Kang Jinho, Festival Director, Park Jinseok, Head of the On-site Support Center, Kim Hwantae, Chairman of the Commemoration Association, and 15 members of the Resident Festival Planning Group participated.

Vice Mayor Jo stated, "Last year at this very place, I spoke about the idea of a festival school," and added, "Now that I see it today, I am confident that our city's urban regeneration has already achieved great success with this festival school alone. I hope we can further discuss designing an organization for the festival school that secures both profitability and public interest going forward."
