With a strong private university alliance, we will take the first step toward building global competitiveness together with local governments and industries, seeking sustainable future strategies for Busan beyond the final selection for Glocal University 30."
Kim Sungjae, Head of the Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation, said, "The foundation serves as an 'open innovation' platform and channel connecting universities, local industries, and local governments, acting as a hub for regional innovation. However, compared to revenue, the commercialization performance remains around 1%, so bold innovation and vision are urgently needed to overcome these structural limitations."
