DL Construction and Ministry of Employment Join Forces to Promote Safety Culture and Prevent Worker Wage Arrears

DL Construction announced on the 19th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the "Promotion of Safety Culture and Prevention of Construction Workers' Wage Arrears" at the construction site of 'e-Pyeonhansesang Dowon Station First Heim' on the 18th.

The event was attended by Min Gilsu, Director of the Central Regional Employment and Labor Office of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, Lee Donggeun, Chief Safety Officer (CSO) of DL Construction, and others. Through the agreement, the Central Regional Employment and Labor Office and DL Construction agreed to devise measures to establish a safety and health management system and to expand the mandatory separate payment system for labor costs to all sites.

Director Min stated, "I hope that all DL Construction sites achieve the goal of 'Zero Serious Accidents' and that the expansion of separate payment of labor costs will extend to other construction company sites as well." He added, "We will strive to prevent industrial accidents and wage arrears through this agreement."

CSO Lee said, "Our company operates a system that identifies and closely manages vulnerabilities for each work type on a daily basis in connection with risk assessments." He added, "Based on this, we will promote the establishment of a safety and health management system and the prevention of wage arrears, and continue to work towards creating a safe environment where workers come first."

Meanwhile, DL Construction is making efforts to spread a safety and health culture through various activities such as awarding excellent safety and health sites and safety culture campaigns.
