Foreign Medical Tourists Get Airfare Discounts... Asiana Airlines and Gil Hospital Join Hands

Up to 15% Off Airfare, 20% Discount on Health Checkups

Foreign medical tourists visiting Gachon University Gil Medical Center will be able to receive discounts on Asiana Airlines tickets.

On the 19th, Asiana Airlines announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Gil Medical Center at the International Medical Center of Gachon University Gil Medical Center in Incheon to promote demand for foreign medical tourists.

Accordingly, Asiana Airlines will offer up to a 15% discount on airfares and one additional free baggage allowance to foreign passengers visiting Korea for medical treatment at Gil Medical Center from Central Asian routes such as Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), and Almaty (Kazakhstan).

Gil Medical Center will also provide these passengers with a 20% discount on VIP health checkup programs. Additionally, free pickup services from the airport or accommodation to the hospital and reservation services for nearby lodging facilities will be supported.

In line with the increasing trend of foreign medical tourists visiting Korea, the two parties will cooperate once again following their collaboration in 2014, and plan to expand partnerships to include employees of both companies in the future.
