Recruitment of Participating Companies for the 15th 'Gibo Venture Camp'

The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) announced on the 19th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the 15th KOTEC Venture Camp to nurture capable innovative startup companies that will lead the leap to a top-tier nation.

The KOTEC Venture Camp is a program that focuses on nurturing and supporting startups with innovative technologies through collaboration with private accelerators, based on KOTEC's accumulated experience in supporting technology startups.

The recruitment target is innovative startup companies within three years of establishment as of the announcement date or prospective entrepreneurs, and approximately 63 companies will be selected through the first document screening and the second presentation evaluation.

Companies selected for the KOTEC Venture Camp can receive various programs including ▲comprehensive consulting for establishing customized growth strategies ▲mentoring linked with experts in various fields such as successful entrepreneurs ▲investment attraction opportunities and networking with private venture capitalists. All programs are provided free of charge.

In particular, KOTEC plans to systematically support innovative startups until they achieve successful establishment by providing a package of financial services such as guarantees and investments, and non-financial services such as R&D support and technology transfer to companies that complete the Venture Camp.

Lee Sang-chang, Director of KOTEC, said, “Excellent companies among the participants of the 15th KOTEC Venture Camp will be offered opportunities for private investment attraction, such as recommendations for the Technology Enterprise First Step Fund, and can receive guarantees of up to 1.5 billion KRW,” adding, “KOTEC will continue to do its best to help companies participating in the KOTEC Venture Camp grow into unicorn companies through active SME support policies.”
