[Featured Stock] Aniplus Gains Global Attention for K-Anime... First Ever $200 Million Transaction Surpassed↑

Aniplus is showing strong performance. This is interpreted as being influenced by the news that the transaction amount of content IP traded at the "18th Busan Contents Market (BCM)," a global content intellectual property (IP) trading platform, has exceeded 200 million dollars.

As of 2:08 PM on the 18th, Aniplus is trading at 3,090 KRW, up 7.11% compared to the previous day.

According to the industry, this BCM featured 660 companies from 45 countries operating 172 booths, with 2,148 buyers and sellers participating, resulting in a total transaction amount of 221.58 million dollars during the event period. Notably, this year's transaction volume increased by 54.09 million dollars compared to last year, surpassing 200 million dollars for the first time since BCM's inception.

A total of five investment agreements worth 50 billion KRW were concluded between Korean animation and content production companies and prominent domestic and international investors.

Additionally, according to the Korea Creative Content Agency, from the 11th to the 14th at the Annecy International Animation Film Market (MIFA) in France, Korean animation conducted 210 export consultations worth a total of 166 million dollars (approximately 230 billion KRW).

MIFA is a film market operated by the Annecy Animation Festival, the world's largest animation film festival. This year, over 6,600 animation industry professionals attended, including 330 buyers from 91 countries.

The Korean joint pavilion included 21 domestic animation companies such as Iyagi Nongjang, Studio TNT, and Dopara, among which seven companies introduced projects at the pre-production (pre-planning) stage and sought investment.

Meanwhile, Aniplus is a global comprehensive content company. By launching the K-PLUS broadcasting and content distribution business, a channel specializing in Hallyu dramas and K-content, it is solidifying its position as a content business operator in overseas markets. It is also strengthening its content IP commercialization business.
