Selection for This Year's Support Project to Expand Market Channels for Agricultural and Food Distribution Vulnerable Farms

The Local Food Direct Store in Yeongyang-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, has been selected for the "2024 Support Project for Expanding Sales Channels for Agricultural and Food Distribution Vulnerable Farmers," a project organized by the Gyeongbuk Agricultural and Food Distribution Education Promotion Agency to promote management stability for small-scale farms.

The "2024 Support Project for Expanding Sales Channels for Agricultural and Food Distribution Vulnerable Farmers" is a support project implemented to provide systematic distribution services and establish a sales expansion system for vulnerable farmers, such as the elderly, small-scale, and female farmers, who face difficulties in securing sales channels for agricultural and food products.

The Yeongyang-gun Local Food Direct Store has been selected for the offline sales expansion category of the "Support Project for Expanding Sales Channels for Agricultural and Food Distribution Vulnerable Farmers" for the second consecutive year, and will receive support for packaging materials for agricultural product sales, such as local food direct store sales boxes and packaging, within 5,000 KRW.

Through this support project, the store plans to produce and operate four additional types of eco-friendly small packaging, in addition to the ten types currently in use. By diversifying the types of small packaging, the range of consumer choices for shipped products will be broadened, contributing to increased farm income.
