Establishing a Culture of Integrity by Eradicating Power Abuse Both Internally and Externally
Hapcheon County in Gyeongnam announced on the 18th that it held an 'Anti-Corruption Integrity Pledge Ceremony' in the small conference room on the second floor of the county office, reaffirming its commitment to creating a transparent and fair public service environment.
Hapcheon County Governor, Deputy Governor, department heads, and 31 senior officials are reading aloud the integrity pledge.
The integrity pledge ceremony was attended by 31 senior officials, including the county governor, deputy governor, and directors. During the event, the participants recited the integrity pledge and signed the integrity oath, demonstrating the strong will of high-ranking officials to practice integrity.
The pledge includes promises to: ▲ take the lead in maintaining integrity in public service ▲ create a healthy workplace free from abuse of power ▲ prohibit the acceptance of money or entertainment related to duties ▲ forbid unjust work orders ▲ foster a culture of mutual respect within the organization. It also contains commitments to eradicate both internal and external abuse of power and to promote a culture of integrity.
The integrity pledge ceremony, held with the voluntary participation of Hapcheon County's senior officials, demonstrates a firm determination to foster a culture of integrity within the county government.
Kim Yuncheol, the governor of Hapcheon County, said, "I hope this integrity pledge ceremony will serve as an opportunity for Hapcheon County officials to reaffirm their commitment to integrity."
