Upbit Hosts the 1st 'Upbit Investment Major League'

Awarding a Total of 6 Bitcoins to the Top 200 Participants

Virtual asset exchange Upbit is hosting a virtual asset investment competition offering a total prize of 10 Bitcoin (BTC).

Upbit operator Dunamu announced on the 18th that it will hold the first "Upbit Investment Major League" from July 3 to 16.

Before the competition, participants can register through the Upbit Investment Major League website until 6 p.m. on the 26th. Any domestic individual who has completed Upbit customer verification can apply, and registration must be completed within the period to participate.

The Upbit Investment Major League is divided into the △Whale League (for those whose estimated total value of KRW and virtual assets converted to KRW is 10 million KRW or more as of the league start date) and the △Newbie League (for those whose estimated total value is less than 10 million KRW as of the league start date). Leagues are automatically assigned based on the user's asset holdings.

The competition targets all virtual assets traded on Upbit markets (KRW/BTC/USDT markets). Virtual assets newly supported for trading on Upbit during the competition period are also included.

Upbit will evaluate cumulative returns during the competition and award 200 participants (top 100 in cumulative returns per league) who achieve high profit performance. The top prize is 1 BTC, awarded to the first-place winner in the Whale League.

Dunamu will hold various events offering additional benefits during the competition. Notably, the first 30,000 users who complete K-Bank account registration and make their first-ever KRW deposit to Upbit will receive BTC worth approximately 10,000 KRW. Additionally, 1,000 league participants will be randomly selected to share a total prize of 0.5 BTC.
