‘Immersive Technology’ Suggests Research Directions for Improving Consumer Well-Being
Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) announced on the 17th that Professor Joo Naan of the Department of Fashion Design has received the Best Paper Award at the ‘Spring Conference of the Korean Society for Fashion Business’.
The Korean Society for Fashion Business is a clothing research organization established in 1996.
The society aims to contribute to the development and globalization of the fashion business by fostering collaboration between academia and industry, conducting research on fashion business connected to real-world industry practices, nurturing talent through industry-academia-research partnerships, and promoting international exchanges.
This year’s conference, under the theme ‘Fashion 6.0: Re-imagining fashion business in AI integration’, was recently held at the headquarters of Fashion Group Hyungji in Songdo, Incheon.
Professor Joo received the award for her paper titled ‘Proposing an Agenda for Consumer Well-being Research in Immersive Technology’.
She conducted a systematic literature review using the ADO-TCM framework and, based on the research findings, presented future research directions on ‘How Immersive Technology Can Improve Consumer Well-being’.
Professor Joo stated, “I expect that the results of this research will be helpful to brand professionals and related researchers who wish to utilize immersive technology to enhance consumer well-being.”
