LetsRun Park Busan Gyeongnam Conducts Beach Cleanup Volunteer Activity

Promoting Expansion of Carbon Neutrality and ESG

LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam of Korea Racing Authority (Director Um Youngseok) announced on the 17th that it had conducted a volunteer environmental cleanup activity at the Gadeokdo beach near Gangseo-gu, Busan, in celebration of 'June Environment Month' on the 13th.


This volunteer activity was carried out jointly with DP World affiliates, including Busan New Port Co., Ltd. (PNC), located in Gangseo-gu.


Participants collected marine waste such as plastic bags, styrofoam, and various other debris scattered throughout the Gadeokdo beach area.


Um Youngseok, Director of the Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of Korea Racing Authority, stated, "Small actions in our daily lives to protect the environment can create significant change," and promised, "We will continue to engage in various environmental protection activities for a sustainable future."


Korea Racing Authority is planning to expand its ESG management continuously, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050. LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam is promoting various initiatives to practice carbon neutrality, such as campaigns to reduce single-use products, supporting projects for recycling discarded banners, and dressing roadside trees.
