Regarding the lawsuit by First Lady Kim Jung-sook... Bae Hyun-jin says, "It seems like the child is wearing out now that the full investigation has begun"

First Lady Kim Jung-sook Files Defamation Lawsuit Against Bae Hyun-jin
Bae Hyun-jin Responds, "Truth Will Emerge If Prosecutors Investigate"

Kim Jung-sook, the spouse of former President Moon Jae-in, has filed a lawsuit against Bae Hyun-jin, a member of the People Power Party, on charges including spreading false information. In response, Bae said, "Now that articles about the prosecution's full-scale investigation are pouring out, it seems they are getting anxious."

On the 17th, Bae posted on Facebook a link to an article reporting that Kim had submitted a complaint against her, saying, "It will naturally become clear through the prosecution's thorough investigation which part of the documents held by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is false (?)."

She added, "For reference, the Moon Jae-in Blue House once filed a lawsuit against the media that raised issues related to this case for spreading false information, but lost and quietly shut their mouths."

She wrote, "Former President Moon Jae-in and his spouse, former Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Do Jong-hwan, and Democratic Party lawmakers Ko Min-jung and Yoon Gun-young, just wait with Moon Jae-in's memoir in hand," and continued, "The investigation into the accused, Kim Jung-sook, will officially begin the day after tomorrow, on the 19th, starting with the complainant's investigation at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office."

Meanwhile, Bae has raised various suspicions regarding Kim's visit to India, such as 'self-invitation' and '60 million won in in-flight meals,' arguing that it was inappropriate for Kim, who is not a public official, to visit India using national funds.

On the 3rd, Bae stated on Facebook, "The core issue of Kim's visit to India is that the government forcibly created a 'budget for the First Lady's overseas trips,' which was never allocated and still cannot be," adding, "'There has never been, nor is there now, a 'First Lady's exclusive diplomatic budget' for a 'civilian' First Lady. If the First Lady wants to travel abroad alone, she must use the Blue House budget or pay out of pocket."
