The inspection targets include four wind power facilities that are either completed or currently under construction, ten large-scale mountain development sites, and three soil and rock extraction sites. These facilities will be checked for compliance with permits and restoration requirements, confirmation of sedimentation basin drainage facilities, risk of soil runoff, and potential for slope collapse.

Yeongdeok-gun plans to review overall safety management and concerns about potential human casualties at the sites in addition to the inspection items. If on-site action or supplementary measures are needed, the county will immediately notify the business owners to implement corrective actions.

Kim Wondong, head of the Forestry Division, stated, "The purpose is to minimize safety accidents and human casualties by preemptively inspecting risk factors such as falling rocks or retaining wall collapses," adding, "We will do our utmost to prepare for forest disasters during the monsoon season through this inspection."
