KB Financial Group Operates 'Heat Relief Shelters' at 846 Branches and Customer Centers Nationwide

KB Financial Group announced on the 17th that it will operate heat relief shelters at 846 branches and customer centers nationwide across its major affiliates.

In particular, this year, not only KB Kookmin Bank but also major affiliates are participating in the operation of the 'heat relief shelters.' KB Kookmin Bank began operating at 773 branches nationwide starting from the 13th.

From today, anyone can use the 'heat relief shelters' at branches and customer centers of KB Securities (63 locations), KB Insurance (7 locations), and KB Savings Bank (3 locations), regardless of whether they have transactions with KB Financial.

The 'heat relief shelters' will operate during weekday business hours (9 AM to 4 PM) until September 30, and at the 82 KB Kookmin Bank 9To6 Bank locations nationwide, they will be available until 6 PM.

A KB Financial official said, "To provide more shelters for citizens exhausted by the heat that arrived earlier than usual, the group's major affiliates actively participated," adding, "This summer, expected to be hotter than any other year, we hope KB Financial's 'heat relief shelters' will become an 'oasis in daily life' where people can find a moment of respite."
