The Laundrigo Hotel & Business 2nd Factory is scheduled to be built next to the 1st factory in Paju, Gyeonggi-do, around August, covering approximately 5,000㎡. Uisikju Company explained that through the 2nd factory, it will secure the largest hotel and B2B laundry infrastructure in Korea.

Uisikju Company will fully enter the rental market by equipping hotel bedding with cost and quality competitiveness through the establishment of an automated laundry system. To this end, it plans to invest more than 20 billion KRW over the next three years.

In addition, in line with the establishment of the 2nd factory, it will introduce a rental model based on Laundry as a Service (LaaS), similar to the US Nasdaq-listed company 'Cintas.' Cintas is a US company providing B2B rental services such as linens, uniforms, and hygiene products, with annual sales reaching about 7 billion USD (9.6 trillion KRW).

Uisikju Company will first apply the globally verified rental model to hotel linen and towel laundry. Afterwards, it plans to enter the domestic laundry market worth 3 trillion KRW, including uniforms and hygiene products. Along with this, it will introduce an automated customer management system to provide convenience to hotel clients who had experienced inconvenience due to manual operations.

The Laundrigo Hotel & Business division holds the number one market share in the domestic hotel laundry market. Currently, it handles laundry for about 8,500 rooms in 43 four- and five-star hotels in Korea.

Jeon Insu, head of the Laundrigo Hotel & Business division, said, "If hotels adopt the rental model, they can eliminate the initial linen purchase cost and drastically save space and human resources," adding, "We will establish ourselves as the overwhelming number one company across the entire laundry industry and grow into a global comprehensive laundry platform."
