OCI Holdings announced on the 17th that on the morning of the 14th, it held the 'OCI-Yonsei MBA' 13th entrance ceremony at Yonsei University Sinchon Campus Sangnam Management Building, attended by about 60 OCI Group executives, faculty members, and related personnel.

OCI Group's in-house MBA program, which began in 2008, is a next-generation core talent development program with a total of 578 graduates, including Kim Yushin, president of the business company OCI, who graduated from the first class.

Due to the company's characteristics, with many employees from science and engineering backgrounds in its main businesses such as renewable energy and advanced materials, the program is operated in two locations?Seoul (Yonsei University) and Daejeon (KAIST)?allowing new team leaders and team leader candidates to participate according to their work location, helping them grow into convergent talents equipped with management knowledge.

This time, until the end of August, top-level professors in Korea will deliver management courses such as financial accounting, human resource management & leadership, B2B marketing, strategic management, technology management, coaching, valuation, innovation theory, and economics, along with special lectures directly related to collaboration in renewable energy, semiconductors, and secondary batteries.

Earlier, from March to May, 38 researchers and engineers from regional business sites such as Pohang, Gwangyang, and Gunsan gathered every Friday in Daejeon to complete the 12-week, 84-hour KAIST MBA 2nd course.

At the entrance ceremony, OCI Dream leader Kim Youngsil said, "It is a reality that self-development is not easy for working people balancing childcare and work regardless of gender," adding, "As a working mom with two children aged 14 and 7, I have always had a thirst for new challenges and learning, and I am grateful to the company for providing such an opportunity."

OCI Holdings Chairman Lee Woo-hyun said in his congratulatory speech, "OCI Group was founded in 1959 as Dongyang Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., changed its name to Dongyang Steel Chemical Co., Ltd. in 2011, and launched the holding company last year, growing and evolving through numerous trials and errors," adding, "OCI Group will continue to invest in human resources, which is the most important factor for the company's sustainable future growth."

In addition to this MBA program, OCI Group conducts various in-house training programs, including leadership education for next-generation leader candidates and foreign language (English, Chinese, Japanese, Malay) and accounting education for nurturing global talents.
