Early Heatwave Boosts Samsung Electronics Home System Air Conditioner Sales by 25% in May

'On-site Installation During Residence' Also Increases by 70%

Samsung Electronics announced on the 16th that sales of home system air conditioners increased by 25% in May compared to last year. Cumulative sales from January to May this year also rose by more than 15%.

System air conditioners were considered products that could only be installed during apartment sales, move-ins, or interior remodeling. However, Samsung Electronics explained that sales have increased because the product can now be installed in the current residence with up to six units within just eight hours. The number of home system air conditioners installed in occupied homes increased by more than 70% compared to the previous year.

When customers purchase from online and offline stores such as Samsung Store and Samsung.com, official professional installation partners designated by Samsung Electronics handle the installation. Samsung Electronics also manages the process to ensure the use of standard materials and compliance with a two-year free after-sales service (AS) policy, enhancing reliability.

This year, Samsung Electronics expanded options by introducing the premium lineup, the 'Bespoke AI Wind-Free System Air Conditioner Infinite Line.'

A Samsung Electronics official said, "As the heatwave continues, more customers are seeking Samsung Electronics system air conditioners equipped with various features that satisfy consumers, such as smart AI functions and wind-free cooling," adding, "Home system air conditioners that can be installed within a day in occupied residences are expected to quickly become a trend."
