Strengthening Will and Determination for Free, Democratic, and Peaceful Unification

This Youth Unification Golden Bell Gyeongnam Regional Competition was organized by the Gyeongnam Regional Council of the National Unification Advisory Council, with over 300 local high school students, accompanying teachers, and National Unification Advisory Council members in attendance.
In addition to O/X quizzes, multiple-choice, and short-answer quizzes on unification and history, a variety of events such as performances and other activities related to unification were also held, providing a diverse experience tailored to the interests of the youth.

Jung Youngno, Vice Chairperson of the Gyeongnam Regional Council, said in his opening remarks, "I hope that through the Unification Golden Bell event, our youth, the future generation, will have a valuable opportunity to strengthen their determination and commitment to free, democratic, and peaceful unification."
At the competition, Choo Seunghyun from Dongwon High School received the grand prize, while Han Kyungwook and Ahn Chiwoo from Haeseong High School, and Lee Seungwook from Gyeongnam Foreign Language High School each received the excellence award.
County Governor Cho Geunje said, "I hope that our youth, who are the future leaders of a unified Korea, will use this event to cultivate a desirable perspective on unification and history, form a consensus on unification, and develop a correct understanding of unification."
