First-Come, First-Served Registration on Gwangjin District Office Website... Free Admission for Children Aged 4 and Above and Guardians
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will present a children's traffic safety musical for children aged 4 and above at the Gwangjin Children's Performance Hall for three days starting from the 25th.
The district has been performing children's traffic safety musicals every year with different themes to help cultivate proper traffic safety awareness among children and to prevent traffic accidents. This year, the musical will be held under the theme "Gwang-i and Jin-i's Traffic Safety Challenge."
The performance features "Gwang-i and Jin-i," who visit Children's Grand Park and find themselves in danger due to careless traffic behavior. With help from their animal friends, they overcome the crisis. Children watching the show will naturally learn ▲ how to safely cross crosswalks ▲ how to safely ride the subway ▲ the importance of transparent umbrellas on rainy days, among other lessons.
In addition, interactive performances such as traffic quizzes and rolling a traffic light ball will be held, allowing children to directly experience and learn proper traffic safety rules.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Gwangjin-gu Office website until the 23rd. The performances will be held six times over three days, and children aged 4 and above accompanied by a guardian can watch for free.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "We have prepared a beneficial traffic safety musical tailored to children's perspectives so that they can develop proper traffic safety habits," and added, "We hope for great interest and participation in this performance where our children can naturally learn traffic safety rules."
