Comprehensive Evaluation of Designated Maintenance Companies and Discussion on Improvement Measures for Repair Work

Busan Urban Corporation (BMC) held a meeting with designated maintenance companies responsible for 12,135 rental apartment units managed by the corporation, aiming to "improve maintenance work and enhance residential welfare services."

Designated maintenance companies are selected through open bidding to promptly address facility repair needs, thereby resolving inconveniences for residents and increasing residential satisfaction.

The companies are organized into four regions, with eight companies in total, each specializing in areas such as construction, mechanical equipment, electrical communication, and firefighting.

During the meeting, participants shared the comprehensive evaluation results of maintenance work and discussed topics such as the repair processing rate by company, average repair duration, delay rates, and satisfaction evaluation status. They also discussed and agreed on improvement measures and implementation plans for areas requiring enhancement.

Additionally, they agreed to strengthen maintenance capabilities by coordinating overall maintenance work, including sharing schedules among designated maintenance companies, residents, and management offices during repair work, as well as improving the functions of the maintenance computerized system.

Kim Yonghak, President of Busan Urban Corporation, stated, "Maintenance of rental apartments is a critical issue directly linked to citizens' safety and convenience," and added, "The corporation will continue to do its best to resolve residents' inconveniences and enhance residential welfare by providing better services."
