Kocca's 'Telefilm' Features Korean Joint Pavilion... Export Performance Hits 13 Billion KRW

Telefilm is Vietnam's largest broadcasting and video market, featuring exhibitions of broadcasting video and technology, conferences, and networking events. This year, 114 companies from twelve countries and about 3,100 industry professionals from the broadcasting and video content sector participated.

The Korean joint pavilion included eight major domestic broadcasting, content production, and distribution companies. These were CJ ENM, MBC, SBS Content Hub, KBS Media, LG Uplus, Daehan Media World, AK Entertainment, and PHENM. They introduced more than thirty pieces of content to major Asian broadcasting channels, platforms, and production companies, achieving export results of 9.42 million USD (approximately 13 billion KRW).

The Korea Creative Content Agency also held a K-Drama showcase presenting highly anticipated domestic dramas. Notably, they premiered Director Heo Jin-ho's "Love in a Big City," Director Yoo Ha's "I Kill You," and "S Line," a video adaptation of the webtoon by Kkomabi.

Ku Kyung-bon, head of the Broadcasting and Video Division at the Korea Creative Content Agency, said, "We hope this will serve as a stepping stone for entering the Vietnamese market," adding, "We will also operate a Korean joint pavilion at 'TIFCOM' held in Tokyo this October." He further stated, "We hope that support for overseas expansion will lead to the export of K-content and the expansion of Hallyu."
