Training Professional Technicians in Hotel Culinary Arts
Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Taesang) recently received a scholarship donation of 10 million KRW from Hyundai Green Food (CEO Park Hongjin).
The scholarship donation ceremony, held on the 12th, was attended by Kim Sungyun, Executive Director of HR and Labor at Hyundai Green Food, President Kim Taesang of Gyeongnam Information University, and officials from both institutions.
The scholarship will be used for students of the university's Department of Hotel Culinary Arts. To foster skilled professionals required by Hyundai Green Food, the company has signed a customized education agreement with the department and is currently operating a "Food Service Culinary Program." Along with the scholarship ceremony, interviews for selecting students for the customized education program were also conducted.
Hyundai Green Food is a leading domestic food company engaged in a wide range of businesses, including group catering, food material distribution, retail, dining, and care food. It is also a comprehensive food company with high enthusiasm for student employment.
President Kim Taesang expressed his gratitude, saying, "We are thankful for the scholarship donation to strengthen the capabilities of students in the Department of Hotel Culinary Arts at Gyeongnam Information University," and added, "All faculty and staff will work together to nurture our students into skilled professionals."
