Anseong-si, Recruiting Students for 'Integrated Lifelong Learning' for Disabled and Non-Disabled

One-Day Classes for 14 Subjects at 'Modu e-Sangjeom'

On the 13th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it is recruiting students for 'Modu e Sangjeom,' a lifelong learning program where people with and without disabilities can experience various life courses together.

This program is designed as a 'one-day class' where both people with and without disabilities can participate in education to promote lifelong learning for people with disabilities. The curriculum consists of a total of 14 subjects and 28 sessions, including woodworking, painting, Minhwa (Korean folk painting), and cooking. Each class is conducted with a team of three people with disabilities and three people without disabilities.


Anyone who is a citizen of Anseong can participate, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting from the 21st. Detailed information about the program can be found on Anseong City's integrated education platform 'Anseong Baeum e' or through the Anseong City Lifelong Learning Team.


An official from Anseong City said, "This program will be a time for people with and without disabilities to learn together through lifelong learning in culture and arts, gaining new experiences and growing together."
