Fintech company Galaxia Moneytree announced on the 13th that it has partnered with BC Card to launch a new version of its prepaid rechargeable card, the 'Moneytree Card,' which now includes Paybook-based easy payment functionality.
The Moneytree Card is a prepaid rechargeable card with no annual or issuance fees, and it can be easily applied for and used without any previous monthly transaction history. It supports various charging methods including bank transfer, mobile phone payment, credit card, department store gift certificates, and affiliated points. With the new partnership with BC Card, the newly launched Moneytree Card enhances convenience for online and offline payments through easy payment at BC Card domestic merchants.
To use the Moneytree Card with Paybook-based easy payment, users must go through an identity verification process. Any customer aged 19 or older who is registered with a telecommunications company under their own name can apply via the Moneytree app or website. Galaxia Moneytree plans to expand its customer base with a two-track strategy alongside the Moneytree Card Basic type, which was introduced last year.
A representative from Galaxia Moneytree stated, “The partnership with BC Card, which is widely used, has significantly strengthened the competitiveness of the Moneytree Card,” adding, “In particular, the increase in places where payments can be made online and offline through the easy payment service is expected to allow customers to use it more conveniently.”
