Online video service (OTT) Netflix announced on the 12th that it will release Season 3 of "Sweet Home" on July 19.
The K-creature series "Sweet Home" first gained attention when Season 1 was released in December 2020 and became the first Korean series to enter Netflix's US Top 10. Subsequently, Seasons 2 and 3 were produced simultaneously, and the two episodes were released last December.
Season 3 depicts a world where the end of monstrosity and the beginning of a new humanity are finally met, telling the story of those caught at a crossroads between the ambiguous boundary of monsters and humans.
Actors Song Kang, Lee Si-young, Go Min-si, Lee Do-hyun, Jin Young, Oh Jung-se, and Kim Mu-yeol star in the series. Based on the Naver Webtoon by Kim Kan-bi and Hwang Young-chan, the drama is directed by PD Lee Eung-bok, who also directed "Descendants of the Sun" (2016) and "Mr. Sunshine" (2018).
