On the 12th, SK Securities analyzed that Messe Isang has a high potential for performance improvement.
Messe Isang is a specialized company in planning and hosting large-scale exhibitions. Utilizing its own integrated online and offline marketing platform and big data solutions, it has a proven track record of successfully hosting major large-scale exhibitions in Korea.
Na Seungdoo, a researcher at SK Securities, explained, "Due to the nature of exhibitions where many people gather in offline spaces, it was inevitable that the business scale shrank during the COVID-19 pandemic," adding, "Since the normalization of daily life, performance has been recovering rapidly."
He continued, "In the first quarter of this year, sales reached 11.9 billion KRW and operating profit was 3.2 billion KRW," noting, "These figures represent increases of 20.6% and 19.4%, respectively, compared to the same period last year."
He emphasized, "The number of exhibitions commissioned for planning and hosting has increased, and the operation rate of the Suwon Messe exhibition hall, which is 100% owned, has risen, continuing external growth."
Researcher Na said, "The largest defense industry exhibition in Asia will be held in line with the Armed Forces Day event," expressing expectations that "due to the recent advancement of K-Defense, demand from overseas visitors will increase." He also analyzed, "In October this year, a pet-related exhibition will be held in Thailand, and in November, a Korea industry exhibition will be held in India," adding, "It is expected that many domestic companies will participate in the Korea industry exhibition held in New Delhi, India."
