Ministry of Employment Launches 7 Pilot Projects for AI Employment Services
An artificial intelligence (AI) service called the 'Employment Success Model,' which analyzes job seekers' characteristics and histories to predict their employment probability, will be introduced.
On the 12th, the Ministry of Employment and Labor announced that it has selected and is developing seven pilot projects for AI-based digital employment services centered on job matching services.
The pilot projects focus on supporting job seekers' employment capabilities, improving the convenience of service use for hiring companies, and strengthening job matching functions.
First, generative AI will summarize and provide resumes and self-introductions of recommended candidates so that companies can quickly review them. It will also present the 'reason for recommendation,' which was not included in existing AI talent recommendation functions.
For job seekers, instead of the currently standardized vocational psychological tests, an intelligent vocational psychological test will be provided that uses AI to analyze user characteristics and only asks essential questions. The test duration will be reduced from a maximum of 95 minutes to 15 minutes.
Based on job seeker profiling, the employment success model service, which predicts employment probability and provides customized services to increase that probability, is also scheduled for pilot application by the end of this year.
AI job training recommendations will be refined to recommend only necessary training by analyzing the correlation between job skills and training courses.
For hiring companies, a service that automatically generates job postings using generative AI by entering only essential information will be developed, and a hiring success model will be established by analyzing job posting data. AI will also be used to verify the appropriateness of job postings.
This project was selected as part of the Ministry of Science and ICT's '2024 Inter-Ministerial Collaboration-Based AI Expansion Project' and will be piloted until next year, with full-scale service starting in the second half of next year.
