I'm Alive Kombucha, containing over 90% fermented tea leaf kombucha concentrate, allowing consumers to enjoy the deep flavor and effects of kombucha as is, is capturing the taste buds of people worldwide.
HLB Global's subsidiary Freshco announced on the 11th that its own brand, I'm Alive Kombucha, recently received awards at the '2024 Superior Taste Award' and the '2024 Kombucha Kup.'
The Superior Taste Award is a food and beverage tasting competition held annually by the International Taste Institute (ITI), a global food and beverage tasting organization based in Brussels, Belgium. A panel of 250 judges, including world-class chefs and sommeliers, evaluates products through blind testing.
I'm Alive Kombucha participated in the tasting competition through the support project for international food tasting competitions by the Korea Food Industry Cluster Promotion Agency. Two products, Original (315ml) and Pomegranate flavor (315ml), were selected as winners in the soft drink-juice and non-alcoholic categories.
I'm Alive Kombucha's new product, Red Grape Blackcurrant, won the gold prize in the 'Fruit-Added Beverage' category at the '2024 Kombucha Kup' hosted by Kombucha Brewers International (KBI). Kombucha Brewers International (KBI) is a global alliance organization consisting of over 300 kombucha producers worldwide.
Freshco Executive Director Han Jeong-yeop said, "I believe this is an example showing that K-drinks, along with K-pop and K-food, are succeeding in the global market," adding, "Since our quality has been recognized at globally reputable competitions, we will further accelerate our exports."
