Making Companion Plants... Expanding the Base of Everyday Horticulture
Ulleung County in North Gyeongsang Province will hold a "Horticultural Healing Program Education" for 20 participants at the Agricultural Technology Center, twice a month for a total of 10 sessions, from June 10 to 14.
The program includes a variety of theoretical and practical lessons such as creating a plant garden using large boxes, common methods of planting in pots, hydroponics, making beautiful terrariums inspired by mini greenhouses, air plant cultivation, succulent plant cultivation, repotting, and landscaping education.
Participant A, who took part in this program, said, "I have always been interested in home gardening, but there were no educational programs available. I plan to learn diligently through this opportunity and actively apply it in my daily life."
County Governor Nam Han-gwon said, "I hope that by completing this newly established program, participants will find healing for both body and mind and gain new vitality in their daily lives through various types of plants."
